Dr. S. Arockiasamy is working as a Principal, Viswa Bharathi College of Education for Women, Vivekanandha Educational Institutions, Veerachipalayam, Sankari West, Salem District. He has completed his M.Sc., (Botany) at St. Joseph’s College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli and M. Phil., (Botany) at Periyar University, Salem and M.Ed., M. Phil., (Education) at St. Xavier’s College of Education, Palayamkottai and Ph.D. Degree in Education at Department of Education, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli, Tamil Nadu, India. He has qualified UGC-NET in Education. He has more than 12 years of teaching experience in conventional mode at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level in St. Xavier’s College of Education (Autonomous), Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District and 1 year teaching experience in Montfort Matric. Hr. Sec. School, Manjampatty, Manapparai Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District, Tamil Nadu, India. He has served as a Fine Arts Co-ordinator and YRC Co-ordinator. He has received Gold Medal Award in M. Phil., degree in Education and has received two Best Library User Award at St. Xavier’s College of Education (Autonomous), Palayamkottai, Tamil Nadu, India. He has edited 7 books at national and international level. He has published and presented more than 55 research and thematic articles in both national and international level Seminars & Conferences and published 15 research articles in peer-reviewed Journals. He has served as a resource person and chairperson in three national level seminars. He is also served as an external examiner for central paper valuation at St. Ignatius College of Education (Autonomous), Palayamkottai and TNTEU, Chennai and has organized and co-ordinated 2 international conferences and 5 national seminars. He also organized 8 Blood Identification Camp at SXCE and also co-ordinated 8 Intramural and 6 Intercollegiate Cultural Competitions. He has successfully guided many M.Ed. Scholars for their Research. His areas of specialization are: Educational Psychology, Educational Technology, Biological Science Education and Cognitive Psychology.
